The Twisted Heart is the most powerful relic in existence, created by Bahamut and Tiamat. The heart records all history in all timelines. Many scholars have theories of why it was created: some believe it is a failsafe against the void, a gateway to parallel universes, and other theories. The relic is protected by the Archdruid and their circle. When the Blight bonded her soul to Fedinian land, it infected the Tree of Life; therefore, a piece of her soul was within the heart.
One day, reports of timelines crossing were reported throughout the world. Citizens reported memories of them dying at a young age or different moments, relationships never had, different jobs, etc. Nafret, the Archdruid, explained to us that if unstable, the Twisted Heart would destroy all. Nafret has agreed to work with the Mage Council to protect this powerful relic from the wrong hands. Only top-level individuals may be around this object or study it.
