Lore
One of the first beings born from the primeval chaos. Alongside his wife, Tiamat, they created all realities. The void came to snuff out their creations, and the dragons engaged in war. Tiamat was deeply wounded, and the infection, the desire for destruction rather than creation, had plagued her mind. The wife attacked her own husband, and without any other choice, he imprisoned her in the lower planes until he could find a cure. His tears created the rivers while her screams formed mountains. He forged metallic dragons after the strengths of his wife, while she created chromatic dragons after his flaws.
Depiction
Bahamut's form has been changed throughout time. When he and Tiamat were lovers, he took the form of a feathery white dragon with silver claws, whiskers larger than planets, 5 tails, and four massive wings with platinum scales. His fight with Tiamat gravely wounded him, reducing his form to a simpler platinum dragon, the most rare of the metallics. Some say he is the only platinum dragon in existence. There is a faint blue sheen along his form, an aura so impossibly brilliant it blinds the eyes. When he wishes to walk the material realm, he takes the form of an old mage with a long white beard, wizard robes, and has 7 canaries around him. Some believe he takes other guises as well. A man followed by 7 dogs, a fisherman with only 7 worms, or a beggar with only 7 vales (dollars).
Personality
Bahamat is calm and gently spoken, but very disapproving of evil and romantic cheating. He has limitless empathy for the downtrodden, the dispossessed, and the helpless. He values wisdom, knowledge, prophecies, and songs.
