Yandreak Wildmight

An extremely dangerous and intelligent individual, Yandreak Wildmight was the Head Researcher at the Mage Council before he was fired.

History

Born in Astra, Yandreak was an excellent military scientist for the Astran Army. In collaboration with Odron military contracts, he helped create Warships with anti-magical fields, BULK droppers, wyvern containers, and many high-tech weapons. The circumstances are unclear, but he left the military and joined the Mage Council. During his time, he got several PhDs related to the Weave, Planar Dimensions, Dimensional Travel, and History. He advanced our knowledge on psionics, chonomancy, graviturgy, and technomancy while never being a mage. He studied the planes and how they interacted with the material planes. He was deeply interested in the humanoid variants touched by the elemental planes known as Gensai. During the Blight Wars, Yandreak became more obsessed with the concept of 10th-level spells or higher and was placed on leave due to mental health. He never returned.

Price of a Soul

In 2301 Yandreak was investigated by The Owl,Akuma Daiki,Garnet Enkindle, John Doe, Faerith Truve, and Aristotle Longfeather on a lead. Brandon LeblancAs they explored the Hen Kohldur Tower, they found out that Brandon Leblanc was kidnapped by X for Yandreak to use as a Soul Coin, the currency of hell and illegal in all regions. The group finds files of his whereabouts, but much of it is destroyed by X. They find Brandon Leblanc, save him, and Akuma gravely injures Yandreak, who is arrested by the police. Yandreak Widlmight was found guilty of multiple crimes, including possession of illegal magic items, possession of a hellish item, kidnapping, dimensional travel without a license, demi-plane creation without a license, using magic to incite coercion, and much more. Odron police attempted to locate where his gateway portal went, but its inner mechanism had a failsafe and dissolved in acid. Yandreak resisted any use of the Zone of Truth, mind reading, and memory search. He was sentenced to life in prison without parole in Odron, placed in the most high-tech prison in Odron.
