Charlette Roosevelt
Charlette Roosevelt is the Drow Freelancer Ordermaster for the Odron and Heavena sectors. The Wild Hunt first meet him on episode 26, Crayon and Guilds, where he showed a disinterest in whether Garfield was a vampire or not.
Biography
Charlette was raised in the Upperdark of Odron and joined the Guaded Web to support his family. With a strong sense of direction, he escorted clients and members to the Middle or Lowerdark. At the age of 16, he was caught by police and charged with multiple felonies, including possession for sale, distribution of illegal substances, illegal transportation to the Lowerdark, and illegal possession of firearms. Drow unfortunately are seen as evil aligned despite the research countering such a claim, and he was given a harsher setence than others. He was guilty and was sentenced to life in prison. Charlette spent 3 years in jail before being requested by the Guildmaster of the Freelancers. In exchange for his sentence being reduced Charlette would help in the Freelancers' multiple missions involving the Middle and Lowerdark.
Charlette was an expert marksman during these missions and saved many of her companions from monsters. He returned to prison to finish his sentence, and after 7 years, he reapplied to the Freelancers. Assigned to the Heavena sector, Charlette quickly rose through the ranks and found his future wife. The two had a daughter named (), she graduated from Cliff Foot University in Religious Studies, minoring in marketing, and is studying for a PHD in Planar Dimensions.
Charlette has two magical guns given by the Guildmaster, named Knowledge and Ignorance. They are semi-automatic pistols, and small pages are attached along the barrel. These legendary guns absorb the weave from the air into bullets. If Charlette isn't aware of a target's abilities, he can only damage them with Ignorance; the other will deal zero damage. Once he understands the target only then can he utilize both pistols. They are built for rapid fire and, due to their magical nature, can ignore some cover or penetrate magical creatures.
Death Blossom
The Wild Hunt first meet Charlette during Hailey Kim's investigation into them. He stands witness to Garfield's questioning under the zone of truth and shows little interest in whether he is lying or not about being a vampire.
The Hunt
A year after Death Blossom, Charlette was elected leader of both Heavena and Odron sectors. Crime had increased in 54% and Brandon Leblanc had come to the guild for assistance. A strange string of murders had appeared; the person would die, followed by a close relative shortly after, from a heart attack, stroke, or shutdown of the brain. Investigations brought few leads, and Brandon wanted Charlette to help since it involved going to the Upperdark.
Gathering some assistance from Rex Chelsa,Rachel Chelsa, Heracles Noxrixius, Sarmos, Silver Null, and Ignacio Varga they investigated the murders. Ultimately, it was revealed that Calvin Winston was helping a demon commit these crimes. The group fought the demon and Calvin, Rex dealing the final blow to Calvin before he was dragged to hell. Charlette used a 9th level Geas spell. The demon revealed its name to be Chesca Woodwick. The Guildmaster had something else in mind for Chesca. Rather than death, he would be studied and trained to become the next member. The Guildmaster and Charlette both believe a guild war is coming, and they want to be ready.
